Watercolour Bay fine art was painted 'en Plein air' in Cornwall and is a beach painting across the Camel Estuary from the Rock side to the Padstow side. We love seascape painting and watching the weather and tide change whilst we paint.
The beach at Daymer Bay is fantastic to paint as the tide moves so much. Many of you will have been there and know how small the beach becomes at high tide and how large it is at low tide when it exposes the Doombar.
We will be returning to different parts of the southwest this winter, so look out for more Cornish art soon.
This more traditional style of watercolour artwork captures the day as it was, sometimes sunny, sometimes windy, and of course, occasionally rainy. That's a holiday in the UK for you. Try mixing Watercolour Bay with more contemporary artworks for very satisfying results!
